The blades of the Taisei Wind Turbine can turn even low wind into electricity.

Rotate with any wind direction

Unlike propeller type, Vertical Axis wind turbine (Taisei turbine) rotates regardless of wind direction, which provides greater flexibility in selecting the installation location. The structure is very simple as a single axis type which makes Taisei turbine durable and easy maintenance. Solar panel is implemented for 200W, 400W and 1KW as standard (Option for larger unit), and electricity can be gained even when there is no wind.

Rotate with low wind speed

The shape of blade is the same as an airplane wing as shown on the products page. The lower half of the wing is cut off which receives drag force to start rotation with wind as low as 1.4 m/s. Taisei turbine is designed to endure against maximum wind of 60 m/s. (10KW is 40 m/s)


Rotate quietly

Since the shape of blade is the same as an airplane wing, air flows smoothly over the blade surface without creating noise. Single axis structure also contributes to quiet operation without vibration. The Taisei wind turbine rotates quietly, vigorously and smoothly in a wide range of wind speed from low wind to strong wind.

Environmental friendly design

The turbine pole can be used to install environmental observation camera, watch camera and various sensors. Since blade rotation diameter is relatively small (Blades of 10kW are surrounded by frames), there should be slim chance of bird strikes. Because of its lower profile, Taisei wind turbine creates much less disturbance to landscape. By utilizing renewable energy, it contributes to CO2 reduction.
